Sarvey Wildlife Care Center to Return as a Featured Charity for Anthro Northwest 2019

Sarvey Wildlife Care Center will return as a featured charity at Anthro Northwest 2019.

Sarvey is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating wild animals in need with the goal of returning them to their natural habitats, and to foster greater appreciation of the uniqueness of each animal and the challenges they face.

The Center admits and cares for sick, injured, orphaned, displaced, and debilitated wild animals, totaling over 2000 patients each year from all across Washington state. Most arrive directly through the efforts of caring citizens, or through the work of a team of volunteers and staff. Care and treatment depend from the generous support of individual contributors, but no animal is ever turned away for lack of funds.

The Center also offers educational programs for schools and organizations about the natural history of local birds of prey, with emphasis on the importance of conservation. These opportunities give people a chance to connect to wildlife they might otherwise never see up-close.

Sarvey will have an information booth available at Anthro Northwest. We encourage you to visit Sarvey's website to learn more, and to make a contribution to help provide the best possible care for an animal in need.
